Advantages and Disadvantages of webnode

Webnode is a brilliant tool that allows inexperienced users to create and maintain a website; this helps them to build a better online presence. The simplicity of Webnode makes it simple and quick to start the setup of a page and they provide a great system to assist in the making of the site. They provide users with a vast amount of templates, which are suited to many different businesses; this makes it an excellent tool to all types of business.

The ability to quickly add content is a great advantage to this software, it provides users with the means to continuously update their content and ensure that their users are getting the most up to date information.

Another advantage to this tool is the ability to integrate social media into the site; this allows users to spread their social presence and also helps them to engage with their customers. This allows them to receive feedback on their product or service and make adjustments accordingly, giving them the best opportunity to meet their customer’s requirements.

One disadvantage I noticed with the software was after I had first set up the site, it felt that the interface I was provided was little confusing, I had to learn the general control before I could start editing my page effectively. A more intuitive interface may have encouraged me to try more technical options.

Another disadvantage i noticed with webnode is the fact that i found it difficult to edit the style and colour of the pages once i had selected a theme. This made it difficult for me to ensure i was using the correct colour scheme. A possible way of fixing this is providing a much more convenient method for users to alter the current scheme and design of the site, without having to change the complete design.

Overall I believe webnode can be a very powerful tool to users, as they can easily develop a very professional and social online presence through its use, they are able to distribute there images, provide details about the services they offer and also write blogs which the users can read and provide feedback on. As the business environment becomes more competitive with the development of online and social media, webnode will help business ensure they can keep up to date.
